Services provided by the City of Joplin and Joplin Disaster Recovery efforts are the focus of Joplin Insider programs airing late July and into August on KGCS-TV.
The first program features information about the Joplin Municipal Court System with Court Administrator as well as the utility billing process with Finance Director Leslie Haase.
The second program provides an update on various projects taking place as the City continues recovery work from the 2011 tornado. Disaster Recovery Coordinator Tony Robyn shares information on several projects, including the Joplin Creek Restoration Project along Murphy Boulevard from 20th Street to F Street. Joplin Insider is hosted by Joplin Public Information Officer Lynn Onstot.

Both programs will continue to air throughout the month of August on KGCS-TV.
KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
