One of the things that most interested me about this video was the glimpse early on of a jar filled with pencils. Are those pencils being used at all? The reporting is a bit too one-sided...unless everything about the IPads is going smoothly at St. Dominic.
Now that Joplin eighth graders all have IPads, I am curious as to how that is working, as far as the students, the teachers, and the parents are concerned.
As we all know none of those three groups has been pleased with the way the laptop initiative at Joplin High School has been implemented. Was the problem with the technology or with the hamhanded, my way or the highway approach that was used by R-8 administrators.
