Mark Rohr won't release the report

Fired City Manager Mark Rohr will not release the 10 pages of the Loraine Report that included, at least in part, the information that led the Joplin City Council to fire him on a 5-4 vote.

An article in the Sunday Joplin Globe features a statement from Rohr:

Under advice of attorney, I have been directed not to release any information at this time regarding any recent events.

If your guilty and you know it clap your hands, clap, clap. I'm not worried Rohr will write a book about, I even have the title: MY STRUGGLE.

Put up or shut up time.

I tried to read the globes article, but I think I already read it in past articles. The story line should have read, Rehash of old stories yada yada yada.

In a previous post a commenter said that the 911 call of Rohr's alleged spousal abuse in Ohio was still around. If that is so, it needs to be shared here. We need more info about this person all the way around.

The Globe covered that if it really happened didn't they? Otherwise if they didn't cover it it then it probably didn't happen. If it wasn't anonymous or disturbing or maybe people weren't interested in reading about it. Maybe ran a transcript of the call? Can't remember, not sure, could be wrong.

there are many people in the Joplin area that know the truth about the episode that occurred here and at least 5 council members did not approve. the other 4, the globe and the police chief gave their stamp of approval. Do you really think an award winning police chief just suddenly decided to spend more time with his family? And does the globe really like rohr so much that they have to stick his face on the front page every day? If rohr goes so does the globe property buyout by the city. Look it up, it is all proposed for the downtown renovation.

His attorney probably advised him to get out of town before the 10 pages gets out and the 4 council that supported him lose the election.

Maybe he can come to Austin and apply. There is ALWAYS room here for another $150,000 a year guy here in the State Highway Dept. As long as you claim to be a rightwing zealot and pay lip service to failed out-dated New Urbanism concepts.
