THIS EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE MORNING AND GRADUALLY SWITCH TO ALL SNOW NORTH
OF THE U.S. 54 CORRIDOR. SNOW WILL ALSO DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY BY LATE MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SNOW WILL
THEN PICK UP AGAIN IN INTENSITY AND COVERAGE BY LATE AFTERNOON
  INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE
FOR AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF U.S. HIGHWAY 54 THROUGH LATE
TONIGHT. BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS CAN BE EXPECTED FROM THIS
  EVENING THROUGH MID DAY MONDAY.

WITH TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED. LOCALLY HIGHER
SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE POSSIBLE. SNOWFALL RATES MAY BE HEAVY AT
  TIMES TONIGHT.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A GLAZE TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF FREEZING
RAIN OCCURRED IN SOME LOCATIONS SATURDAY NIGHT...BUT THE THREAT
OF FREEZING RAIN HAS ENDED ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL
RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN
  A HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL REMAIN BELOW ZERO
TODAY ACROSS THE AREA. TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY...WIND CHILLS

RISK FOR FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA FOR ANYONE WITHOUT PROPER
  SHELTER.
