Jeff Koch continues fight for school board on shoestring budget

With the exception of advertisements in which the Joplin Progress Committee encourages Joplin R-8 patrons to vote for their chosen candidates, including him, Jeff Koch's campaign has been accomplished on a shoestring budget.

His eight-days-before-the-election report, filed with the Jasper County Clerk's office, shows that Koch has spent $810.93, with all of it coming from his own pocket. Koch made it a point earlier to accept the Joplin Progress Committee's endorsement, but not its money.

Koch spent most of his money with Ramsey Media Works, buying 150 yard signs for $569.50, $85 for business cards, and $106.43 for 4x6 cards.
