At the beginning of his latest newsletter, Rep. Myron Neth, R-Liberty, shows his happiness at overriding Gov. Jay Nixon's veto of SB 509.
First of all, I was proud to be part of voting to override the Governor's veto on the historic tax bill today. We were able to garner the required 109 votes to do so. As I explained my support of the bill in a past report I will not repeat here, but my support is steadfast and believe this is a responsible thing to for a better economic environment in Missouri.
