"Did you see that woman that ran the red light in front of me?" - Well ... if she ran a red light, what did you do...

and just how exactly did the policeman actually see the dog.... in his lap... while driving his own car???
or was this a retaliatory targeting of Rosenberg?

I think that when officers are in pursuit or the camera is activated the radio should not be playing, as it creates a great cover for the officer to speak and not be recorded

I believe the radio is a cover so you cannot hear the conversations. This should be off when in record mode on the camera

I think the officer involved should be commended for his professionalism. Maybe he should run for City Council. I'm sick to death of these angry, bitter old white men and their "it doesn't apply to me" attitude. Such a childish person has no business making decisions for the people of Joplin. Although this is a minor matter, it shows a pattern of behavior that we should remember when he runs for re-election.

I am so sick of the "blame the police for doing their job" attitude instead of the person actually in the wrong. If you actually watch the video, the officer was stopped at a red light when he saw the dog on the lap. Good grief....not all cops are bad! Most are just doing their job! Get to know some! They're really good people doing a thankless job!

having a dog on your lap is wayyy more distracting than texting, putting on make up, lighting a cigarette or any of the other crazy things people do while driving? But there is no excuse for treating a polite professional officer badly.

I just wish the globe had the same standard for everyone because they sat on the rohr 911 call that they had full knowledge of. Why wouldn't that be just as newsworthy as the Pulitzer prize winner they wrote titled " Pooches Gone Wild"

If you have an unrestrained dog in a car, much less your lap, if you have to hit the brakes hard you will probably have a dead dog and maybe a dead you.
