Add first year eighth grade math teacher Michael Morrison to the list of those who are leaving East Middle School.
A Turner Report post Sunday listed some of those who are leaving the embattled school, including eighth grade science teacher Mike Wallace and his wife, seventh grade reading teacher Jennifer Wallace, eighth grade reading teacher Kim Frencken, sixth grade communication arts teacher Amanda Mehrens, sixth grade math teacher Brian Neugebauer, and special education resource teacher Bridgette Titus.
The district has also been advertising a sixth grade science position.
It remains to be seen whether C. J. Huff, instead of placing the blame for the departures on the East Middle School administration, will blame the departures on lingering after-effects from the tornado, spouses who got jobs in other communities, or if all of these people were teachers to didn't live up to C. J. Huff's high standards.
