On May 30, 2014 the Jasper County Circuit Court filed charges of Statutory Sodomy 2nd Degree, Furnishing Pornographic Material to a Minor, and Statutory Rape 2nd Degree on Jessica Low.
The bond for these charges was set at $7,500.00 and she remains in custody at this time. The added charge of Statutory Rape 2nd Degree is as a result of a forensic interview that was conducted with both juvenile victims at the Children’s Center. One juvenile victim indicated that Ms. Low followed him home from school and they had sexual intercourse at his residence.
We do not believe at this time that either of the sexual acts that were performed on the juvenile occurred during school hours nor did they occur on school property. The Investigations Bureau is continuing to follow up on leads with this case.
