Joplin R-8 Patrons: How do we sign that audit petition?

It was revealed this morning, initially by KZRG and later by the Turner Report that a petition is circulating seeking a state audit of the Joplin R-8 School District.

The information came from the state auditor's office, so I have yet to hear who is circulating the petitions and how people who want to sign them can do so.

Anyone with any information, please leave a comment. Thanks.

Randy, In addition to where to sign. Can you add some more details like how many signatures are needed? Do they have to be residents of R-8 or Joplin? What is the scope of the audit? What is the timing?

I know KZRG made the comment but they didn't seem to have the same amount of details that you provide before bringing a story. I am not knocking them but it seems like you usually want to bring a story together with more detail. The fact the KZRG and the Turner Report have mentioned it give us hope that it will be too big to ignore by the "elite" journalists of the area.

Besides CJ said in his interview he has been expecting them since 2011. Hey, wasn't that the same timeframe that he was recorded saying "I don't want to go to jail"?? I am just saying..
