Joplin High School vocal music teacher Breana Clark, sponsor of the show choir group Sound Dimension, has submitted her resignation, joining the ever-increasing number leaving the school district.
More than 200 teachers left Joplin over the past two years and reportedly another 100+ are out the door this year, as well.
Mrs. Clark sponsored Sound Dimension, which is shown performing at a recent show in Carthage, for the past three years.She announced her departure this week in a Facebook message to the members of Sound Dimension for the 2014-2015 school year.

If you knew the real reason she resigned it's a much more news worth story.
She resigned because of the district - not personal reason I should qualify. Very poor treatment by administrators.
And yet another trusted and capable teacher is gone because of abuse at the hands of R8's central office staff. And where was the Board when this happened? Not paying attention, it appears, to what their little Louise and Marie are doing to the masses.
This makes me really sad. She is a very good teacher and should have been treated better by the district. It's a sad day for Joplin to see her go.
