Bond denied for Joplin woman charged with sexually exploiting, abusing her daughter

A federal judge this morning ruled that Gina Hajny, 39, Joplin will stay behind bars as she awaits trial on charges of child pornography and sexual exploitation of her daughter.

Prosecutors argued that Hajny was a flight risk since she had talked about moving to Arkansas and never looking back Their arguments, which were included in a motion filed Friday in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri ended with the following:

.Finally, the defendant’s sexual exploitation of children clearly demonstrates that she has no respect for the law and is a clear and present danger to the safety and welfare of those children who reside in the same residence and she will continue to be a severe risk to the safety of the community at large should she be allowed out on bond.

The charges against Hajny were spelled out in the probable cause statement.
