KSN Joplin High School report calls for volunteers, does not mention inspection

A KSN report Sunday featured the Joplin R-8 School District's calls for more volunteers for the move to the new Joplin High School/Franklin Technical Center, but failed to mention that the nature of the work those volunteers will be doing has changed, at least temporarily. The volunteers, who were originally scheduled to start moving things into the new building today, are instead doing work at the Administration Building at 32nd and Duquense, such as fixing binders for 2,300 students and 107 teachers, after the building failed its city inspection Friday. The report makes no mention of the inspection or what duties the volunteers are performing.

Reporting on KODE/KSN is on a par with the Joplin Globe - nothing. I knew it was over when KODE reported the anniversary of Richard Nixon's resignation of the Presidency with a picture of Jay Nixon - enough said.
