C. J. Huff attorney: Former principal's personnel file has reason he lost his job

Joplin attorney Karl Blanchard is asking that he be allowed access to former Royal Heights Principal Larry  Masters' personnel records to help him in his defense of R-8 Superintendent C. J. Huff and former assistant superintendents Angie Besendorfer and Steve Doerr against Masters' lawsuit.

Masters had already been offered a contract for the 2010-2011 school year when the school board voted to rescind the contract. Masters claims there was a conspiracy in which Huff, Besendorfer, and Doerr were involved, that cost him his position (because he was a tenured classroom teacher, he remained employed by the district).

"Based upon facts and information gathered and presented by individuals other than the defendants that said facts and information justified the rescission of the contract," Blanchard wrote, in Doerr's response to the lawsuit, which was filed earlier this month. The same thing was said in Huff's response, which was filed in August.

Court records do not indicate that Besendorfer has been served.

Blanchard saved time by sending almost exactly the same remarks in Doerr's response that he had written for Huff. Both men claim that they cannot read Besendorfer's mind.

Angie is at the Capitol building trading her wares for favors for her invisible school frequently. She can't be that hard to find, although I wouldn't expend much effort looking for her, myself.

Given why they really went after his job, from what I've heard, someone should be looking into President Sharp's relationship with NMS coach Terrie Dresh. Just saying...

Your comment is just low. It is no one's business unless Dresh is getting special treatment as an employee, which she would never ask for. Grow up.
