Pre-trial conference set for Carthage School Board member on drunk driving charge

A 9 a.m. December 8 pre-trial conference has been scheduled for a Carthage R-9 Board of Education charged with drunk driving.

Mark Westhoff, 56, was arrested by the Missouri Highway Patrol May 9. In addition to the DWI, he is charged with failure to drive on the right side of the road and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Westhoff is represented by Joplin attorney Brian Glades.

It's drunken driving. Drunk is a verb. Drunken is the adjective that modifies driving.
