A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE REMAINS
IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST MONDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...POCKETS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE
  WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN
  OZARKS GENERALLY BETWEEN AVA...SALEM AND WEST PLAINS WHERE
  TEMPERATURES WILL HOVER NEAR FREEZING.

  TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN JUST ABOVE FREEZING ACROSS THE
  REMAINDER OF SOUTHWESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO THIS
  EVENING WHERE AREAS OF PLAIN LIGHT RAIN OR DRIZZLE WILL
  CONTINUE.

  THE COVERAGE OF FREEZING DRIZZLE IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE AFTER
  MIDNIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES GRADUALLY
  FALL TO OR BELOW THE FREEZING MARK.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE
  EASTERN OZARKS GENERALLY SOUTH AND EAST OF CASSVILLE TO
  VERSAILLES LINE THROUGH MID MORNING MONDAY.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A VERY THIN GLAZE UP TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF
  OF AN INCH OF ICE IS EXPECTED WHERE TEMPERATURES REMAIN OR FALL
  BELOW FREEZING.

* IMPACTS...SPOTTY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS
  EVENING WITH THE POTENTIAL OF MORE SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL IMPACTS
  OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING. BRIDGES...OVERPASSES AND
  UNTREATED ROADS WILL BE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO ICING. WITH TEMPERATURES
  HOVERING NEAR FREEZING...TRAVEL CONDITIONS COULD VARY
  CONSIDERABLY FROM WET TO ICY OVER SHORT DISTANCES.
