Joplin City Council approves funding for police training center

During its meeting Monday night, the Joplin City Council approved funding for a police training facility, which will include a K9 training center, a SWAT obstacle course, and a driving course.

The facility, which will cost $2.1 million, will provide training for the police and fire departments.

why doesn't the city spend money on something that will bring jobs to Joplin. We already have too many police and they are corrupt. MSSU has a criminal justice degree program. These people are retarded.
