Emery to head immigration panel
House Speaker Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, has appointed Ed Emery, R-Lamar, to head a panel designed to study the immigration problem, according to a posting on the Joplin Independent.

This probably means he won't be able to make his June 19th date in court for failing to drive on the right side of the road since he will be too busy counting illegal immigrants.
