KOAM reports Surface pulled over, may have been driving while impaired
KOAM just reported that Jasper County Presiding Commissioner Chuck Surface was stopped and appeared to be driving while impaired.
The case has been turned over to the Highway Patrol to investigate, according to KOAM.
Surface is in the middle of a three-way primary race with Carthage attorney Jim Spradling and businessman John Bartosh.

All I have to say is, he had better not get out of this with a slap on the wrist. When we force regular Joe and Jill Public to pay the piper for these offenses, Surface had better pay it, too.
And I have to also say, it could not have happened to a nicer guy, LOL.
Mel Gibson also got pulled over today. Imagine that.
I'd rather have a drunk Chuck than a crazy Jim. He must get started drinking early too if its on by the end of the 10pm news.
KOAM also reported that Joplin's mayor resigned. Let's wait and see on this one.
Did Dunn do it? He has it in for Surface and this is about the only way to get him? Jasper County is in a need for housecleaning.
Joplindaily beat the Globe in the online news arena on this one.
