Pay freeze ends at News-Leader, Gannett newspapers

"Raise" is a relative term. They might give us an extra nickel and, technically, we will have gotten a raise. But they'll have to give us a heckuva "raise" in order to make up for the money we lost by being furloughed last year with no pay. Meanwhile, the guys at the top pay themselves millions and millions...
