Hearing set for Anti-Sharia bill written by white supremacist

A hearing for a bill sponsored by Rep. Paul Curtman, R-Pacific, (pictured) that would ban Sharia law in Missouri (as if that is a problem any way), will be held by the General Laws Committee at noon tomorrow in House Hearing Room 4.

As I noted last week, he bill, like many other bills making their way through the Missouri legislature, was not written by a representative, but by one of the special interest groups that relieve our elected officials of that duty.

As pointed out by the investigative magazine Mother Jones, the anti-Sharia bill was penned by David Yerushalmi of the Public Policy Institute.
From the Mother Jones article:

But it's not just Muslims who draw Yerushalmi's scorn. In a 2006 essay for SANE entitled On Race: A Tentative Discussion (pdf), Yerushalmi argued that whites are genetically superior to blacks. "Some races perform better in sports, some better in mathematical problem solving, some better in language, some better in Western societies and some better in tribal ones," he wrote.

Yerushalmi has suggested that Caucasians are inherently more receptive to republican forms of government than blacks—an argument that's consistent with SANE's mission statement, which emphasizes that "America was the handiwork of faithful Christians, mostly men, and almost entirely white." And in an article published at the website Intellectual Conservative, Yerushalmi, who is Jewish, suggests that liberal Jews "destroy their host nations like a fatal parasite." Unsurprisingly, then, Yerushalmi offered the lone Jewish defense of Mel Gibson, after the actor’s anti-Semitic tirade in 2006. Gibson, he wrote, was simply noting the "undeniable Jewish liberal influence on western affairs in the direction of a World State."

This ought to bring the jobs flowing into Missouri.

9:03 prove it. You're nuts.

We in Missouri might as well set our clocks back 100 years. The whole state will be like Ozark before long.

Nothing like seeing these paranoid Christians preaching hatred.

Prove it! My, I just love liberal intellectuals. They have such a way with words, so able to form logical arguments, so gracious with their opinions. Well Europe is having problems to the point France has laws against the veil in public, to the point that Germany has declared multi-culturalism a failure, and to the point where the UK has cities where violence is a way of life. If your upset about Christian paranoia what about Islam. If Ozark is so backward for you leave. You are obviously much too elitist for us Hillbilly people and to continue to live among us shows you are the one who is nuts!

"the UK has cities where violence is a way of life."

WOW. Then I really wouldn't want to live in a country with more violence than than the UK... O wait I already do. If the US were more like the UK, our murder rate would be FOUR times lower. Islam less of a threat to the US way of life than Christianity does.

I believe the discussion was about Islam and Sharia law. In the UK like other areas where there is a large population of Muslims, there is condoned honor killings, beatings of wife and children, and those from North Africa, female circumcision. But you don't care about Sharia law. You seem to concentrate on your hatred of where you live and Christians. Ozark? Missouri? Oh, America. Well, my parochial rube, you might ask your mommy and daddy to take you away or else you will have to wait until you grow up. Try South Africa, beautiful diversity. In the mean time, read many different opinions and you might gain wisdom. Otherwise, stay as hateful, narrow, dogmatic, limited, uncritical, and you may end up as -say a teacher. No more time on you, young adolescent. I hope you don't drown in bile -or be saved by those nasty Christians.
