Why don't you get more involved in being sure that the tax dollars being spent are getting full value?
In Springfield, hugh amounts of money are being spent on intersections, sound-barriers, street-widening, fly-overs, and other traffic enhancements with very limited numbers of people being employed, from the operators to the suppliers. But, the legislators are receiving many-many dollars from the contractors and suppiers to keep the money flowing to them.
