New law extends Castle Doctrine, allows nearly everyone to carry concealed weapons
What an exercise in stupidity by our legislature. No gun safety classes necessary, just buy a pistol and conceal it. No education whatsoever on the "Stand your ground" law. Any idiot without a felony can carry here or in the equally ignorant Kansas with less education than required for a driver's license. It's appropriate that this story was accompanied by the ad from the law firm with the motto, "When sorry just doesn't cut it". I anticipate there will be a boom in business for law firms suing gun carriers for incompetence in storage and handling of weapons.

ReplyDeleteI bet the next thing the State Legislature does is pass a law allowing them to wear their ski masks in the business also.
