The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed a second-degree drug trafficking charge against a Joplin woman today.
An arrest warrant was issued for Alyssa M. Park with bond set at $50,000 cash or surety.
From the probable cause statement:
On 10/11/2025 Alyssa Park was stopped for traffic violation while operating her 2018 Jeep Renegadebearing Missouri Registration (LL9-N9G). The final stop was West 16th Street and South Moffet Ave
in Joplin City, Jasper County.
Alyssa was observed by FLEX Members at a known narcotics location within Jasper County. She was
stopped after leaving the residence.
During the stop, K-9 Officer Brannin utilized his Police K-9 on the vehicle K-9 Officer Brannin advised his Police K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics. Alyssa also consented to a search of her vehicle.
A Probable Cause Search was then completed of the Jeep. During the search, K-9 Officer Brannin located a folded piece of foil inside Alyssa's wallet. Inside the foil was an off-white powder believed to be Fentanyl (Schedule II Controlled Substance). The foil and powder weighed 0.53 grams. The powder tested positive for Fentanyl Compound using the TruNarc Device.
The case was investigated by the Joplin Police Department.

ReplyDeleteThey are building a case. They said "known location" but it's probably just a suspicion in the eyes of law enforcement so they'd need more evidence before a judge would sign a warrant

ReplyDeleteMost illicit fentanyl entering the United States is produced in Mexico by transnational criminal organizations, primarily the Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation Cartels, using precursor chemicals largely sourced from China and, increasingly, India. Maybe some political groups need to get their heads out and figure this is why we are trying to close the border. Why we have let in 10-12 million illegal aliens in the last 4-years alone including: Cartel Members, Murderers, Criminals, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers into our country. But several of you out there want us just to turn a blind eye and let them break the laws of America. Here is a simple question, probably too difficult for a lot of you, do you lock your house or apartment or trailer at night, do you lock your cars too, why to protect you, your family, and possessions, well that same reason we want to close the border, to protect America, Pretty Damn Simple Logic - the WONC, "The Woke No Commentor", will argue the point, but it is the same - Truth and Facts!
