Dakota James Alton (DOB 1994) waived extradition during a video arraignment on a fugitive from out of state charge.
Cherokee County officers will take him back to Kansas.
According to court documents, Alton faces the following charges in Cherokee County:
-Aggravated kidnapping (two counts)
-Aggravated residential burglary (two counts)
-Aggravated battery
-Criminal threat (two counts)
Wow - Seven Felonies, Dakota James Alton, will probably not spend any long term time in prison. The Judges and Prosecuting Attorneys will probably just give him another backroom, slap on the wrist - probation sentence so he can be back on the streets to continue to menace and harm good people in our society.

You should run for Sheriff since you have some chip on your shoulder. I hope to God that Mr. Alton is not presented in front of a jury of likeminded folks as yourself.
