The Barry County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed a felony driving while intoxicated-death of another charge Friday against Jordan Renee Arevalo (DOB 1998), Stilwell, Oklahoma. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only.
A probable cause statement filed Friday in Barry County Circuit Court says Arevalo was behind the wheel of a 2012 Acura that struck Jake Justin Dimello, 30, Seligman, (picture below) on Route J August 23.
Dimello was taken to a Springfield hospital where he died September 6.
From the probable cause statement:
Arevalo's speech was slurred, and she had watery and glassy eyes. She swayed while walking/standing. She had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her breath. I administered a preliminary breath test which indicated she was over .08% BAC.
Ms. Arevalo was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Barry County Jail and
I released her into the custody of Trooper J. Martin, badge # 470, Trooper Martin Administered the Intox DMT which had a result of 0.142 BAC. Ms. Arevalo was released into the custody of the jail staff on a 12-hour hold.
On September 6, 2025, at 1903 hours, the victim was pronounced deceased due to injuries sustained from the crash.

Hopefully they will charge her with his death and not do a Dr. Joseph and his Son Deal - which they should both be in Jail looking at Long-Term Sentences - But these piss ant Judges and Prosecutors - have to make deals and give probation to these Criminals and not serve the Public that they were sworn to protect.
