ReplyDeleteA retired Georgia Judge, Jolly Walter Matthews, 86, was attempting to walk across Range Line just south of 32nd Street, when he was hit by a dune buggy and then two other vehicles. When I was in Journalism Class, High School Newspaper, Year Book Staff, and College Newspaper - We were taught to always answer the following for every story: 5-W's and H, Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How - I guess Journalism has changed in the last several decades?
ReplyDelete2:09 yes you are correct but since the family had not been notified, no name was being released. The information came directly from the Joplin police department, Mr Turner was not at the scene of the accident. Most readers are able to understand where his information comes from, when reading his reports.
