A Joplin man who was sentenced to 10 months in prison in 2025 after violating the terms of his supervised release, may be heading back to prison only a few months after release.
Initial revocation proceedings are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in U. S. District Court in Springfield for Frank Ness.
The nature of Ness' alleged violations is not included in public court documents.
In 2025, Ness, who served eight years of a 10-year sentence for possession of child pornography, was charged with violating five conditions of his released, admitted to two of the violations and said his probation officer would say he violated the other three.
