A pretrial hearing for former Neosho South Elementary PTO treasurer Melanie Feagans, 33, Carthage, who faces three felony stealing charges, is scheduled for Monday, July 22, in McDonald County Circuit Court. The case is being heard there on a change of venue from Newton County.
Ms. Feagons is charged with embezzling at least $25,000 while serving as treasurer of the Oakwood Cemetery Association, between $2,821 and $9,618 from the Neosho Wildcat Booster Club, and $13,025.40 from the PTO.
