Ron W. Ainsworth, president of Carthage-based Leggett & Platt's Fashion Bed Group, is leaving the company effective today for personal reasons, according to a statement issued by Leggett & Platt.
He had been vice president of the company's Consumer Products Division,which includes the Fashion Bed Group, for the past 13 years.
The statement quoted Ainsworth as saying he "plans to spend the next two to three months traveling and spending time with his family, then decide on a new career path."
