O'Sullivan Industries' million-dollar CEO Bob Parker told the Joplin Globe, in a story for Saturday's newspaper, that O'Sullivan Industries will not be closing or selling its Lamar plant and he does not expect any more layoffs. Actually, what he said, was there are no plans to close or sell the plant.
Speaking from the company's cushy new corporate headquarters in an Atlanta suburb, Parker who is paid more than double what any previous O'Sullivan CEO has been paid, said he would not respond to rumors about the company.
