Hearing set in former principal's lawsuit
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, in former Seneca Elementary Principal Ann Laudwig's breach-of-contract suit against the R-7 School District. The lawsuit was filed Dec. 30 in Newton County Circuit Court.
I've personally dealt with Ann, Randy's well aware of the situation. After the situation was resolved Ann and sat down and talked numerous times.
I do recall she told me she was noving to KC, had applied for and accepted a job there but mostly to be closer to her kids who lived nearby......So I wonder what's really going on.
Let's stick to the facts. The district did not pay her for administering summer school. They paid the year before, but not for the year in question. The district did offer her a contract for the following year. She resigned. This is all a matter of public record. You should check your facts rather than throw poison darts.
Was just wondering if it stated that she was asked to leave or left on her own.
ReplyDeleteMy information came from case.net, but I am betting the Daily checks it out and has the story in the next day or two.
