The Texarkana, Texas, Gazette has named the battle between Nexstar Broadcasting and Cable One over retransmission rights one of the top 10 stories of 2005.
KTAL in Texarkana was affected by that battle as well as KODE and KSNF in Joplin. The conflict was resolved in December after the local stations had been kept off Cable One since the first day of 2005.
