Nexstar Springfield area battle covered in News-Leader

The Sunday Springfield News-Leader features an article on the ongoing battle between Nexstar Broadcasting and a cable company in the Springfield viewing area. As The Turner Report was the first area media outlet to note, CableAmerica has filed a complaint with the FCC about Nexstar's duopoly arrangement in Springfield, through which it owns KSFX, the Fox affiliate, and is the de facto owner of KOLR, the CBS affiliate. The company has the same arrangement with KSNF and KODE in Joplin.
