The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs will present a $415,659 check to The House, Inc., 24706 State Highway 171, Webb City during a 2:30 p.m. Tuesday ceremony, according to a VA news release.
The check will be presented by Pete Dougherty, VA director of homeless programs, and accepted by Tom Hubbs, The House executive director, the news release said.
The grant is one of 72, totaling approximately $14 million being presented to community-based groups across the country to help the homeless, according to the release.
