The controversy over the recently-passed photo voter ID bill in Missouri is going to be replayed on a national scale. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, has sponsored legislation that would require photo identification for voters across the United States.
Syndicated writer John H. Fund supports the plan in his latest column.
This bill is a crock....they say that they are doing it for the betterment of the voting procedure but in reality it is only going to make people mad enough not to vote at all! They get mad enough now and they only have to provide a voter card or drivers license and many forget those! These are just my opinions of course!
ReplyDeleteIt seems we all have forgotten the real reason for elections in this country. The system was set up to provide an outlet for voter frustration with government personnel and policy. It is a non-violent revolution every four years instead of a violent revolution every twenty years. Excluding people from the vote, by whatever mechanism negates that original intent.
