Jim Edward Ryan, 43, Lamar, was sentenced to life in prison without parole by Judge James Bickel Monday during a hearing in Cedar County Circuit Court in Stockton.
Ryan was found guilty by a Cedar County jury of murdering his brother-in-law, John Kullie, with a tire jack May 25, 2005, in Lamar Heights.
