The Jarden Corporation, owner of the former Sunbeam plant in Neosho, more than doubled its profits in the second quarter, according to information filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company's profit, after one-time costs for reorganization and acquisition costs, was $39.3 million or 60 cents per share. Revenue increased 28 percent to $962 million.
