McCaskill to spend the day in southwest Missouri
U. S. Senate candidate Claire McCaskill will spend election day in southwest Missouri, according to a news release from her campaign. This is a marked difference from previous statewide Democratic campaigns in which this area has been forgotten after spring.
The state auditor's agenda includes a poll visit at Roundtree Elementary, Springfield, from 10:45 to 11 a.m., lunch at the grand opening of the Joplin Democratic headquarters at 1804 S. Main from 12:15 to 12:45 a.m., another poll visit at Kelsey Norman Elementary in Joplin from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and a "victory party" from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rep. Sara Lampe's headquarters, 1448 S. Glenstone, Springfield.
