Felony sex charges have been filed against a fifth member of the Grand Valley Independent Baptist Church.
McDonald County Circuit Court records indicate Laura Epling, 584 Cecil Epling Way, Washburn, has been charged with statutory sodomy in connection with activities that allegedly took place March 3, 2004.
During Rev. Raymond Lambert's preliminary hearing today, testimony indicated Ms. Epling had assisted Lambert in having sex with an underage girl as part of a church ritual.
Bond has been set at $10,000 for Ms. Epling.
