Delbert Scott, R-Lowry City, will begin his second four-year term as 28th District state senator, but his eyes appear to be focusing on a higher office.
According to an amended statement of organization filed Dec. 8 with the Missouri Ethics Commission, Scott plan to seek statewide office in 2008.
Offices available in 2008 include governor, lieutenant governor, treasurer, attorney general, and secretary of state.
