Nodler Leadership PAC ceases to exist

Whatever the reason may be, the Nodler Leadership PAC, which has provided funding for GOP candidates since its formation in October 2003, no longer exists...at least under that name.
Though I was unable to find any documents on the Missouri Ethics Commission website explaining the change, what was the Nodler Leadership PAC is now the Southwest Missouri Leadership PAC.
The PAC, which has Joplin CPA Nick Myers as its treasurer, apparently distributes funding based on the decisions of three men, according to a report by former Joplin Globe investigative reporter Max McCoy- Bill Gipson, Empire Electric, Gary Duncan, CEO of Freeman Health, and Rudy Farber, chairman of the board of Community Bank and Trust. Farber was appointed to the State Highway Commission earlier this week by Governor Matt Blunt.

  1. With the campaign limits off having a "leadership" PAC no longer makes sense.

Randy , Please explain, you said the PAC ceases to exhist, then you say "at least under that name", then you say it does exist under a new name. Did this PAC ever go out of existance? Did it ever liquidate its assets? Or did it just change its name.? If it just changed its name it clearly didn't "cease to exist" It seems pretty obvious that the PAC is very successful and that Nodler is term limited and that the PAC intends to continue after Nodler leaves office. What is the mystery to you?

  3. Anonymous, I feel bad that your life is such that you are this grouchy this early in the morning. The simple fact is you cannot access Nodler Leadership PAC through the Missouri Ethics Commission search engine because there is no Nodler Leadership PAC. Anyone searching for records of it, as of last night, has to know that it has been renamed Southwest Missouri Leadership Fund or they will have no luck finding it.
I said nothing in my post that wasn't true. Apparently, you feel you have to complain even when there is nothing to complain about. I simply provided information about a change and if you don't like the way I phrased it, that's your hard luck.

Who is being Grouchy? Your headline reads "Nodler Leadership PAC ceases to exist", that is simply untrue. In your response you say "I said nothing in my post that wasn't true" and that is simply untrue. In fact to say "Nodler Leadership PAC ceases to exist" is untrue, no ifs ands or buts about it. It is really too bad that you believe that people who tell the truth are grouchy and you have this inability to admit a mistake on your part. It doesn't matter if you admit the mistake or not it is obvious to everyone else and it doesn't matter if you get mad at me for telling the truth it won't stop it from being the truth. As for you anger, thats really your own problem.

Wow... I stepped into the wrong blog, it would appear... I was looking for someplace with an adult discussion. Can someone direct me to a blog that requires all its comment posters to at least be 13?
