Unless I missed it on one of the other channels, KOAM blew everyone out of the water with its report on a lawsuit filed today against Joplin police officer Frank Lundien and the Jasper County Drug Task Force.
The lawsuit was filed by a man who had $63,000 confiscated from him when he was arrested on drug charges. After the charges were dropped, the court ordered that the man's money be returned to him and it was not there.
KSN and KODE had no mention of the lawsuit on their 6 p.m. newscasts, while nothing has been placed on the Joplin Globe's website at this time.
