Jasper County Circuit Court Judge David Mouton indicated today that a decision on whether Memorial Middle School shooter Thomas Gregory White will be tried as an adult or as a juvenile should be made shortly after July 6, according to a report just aired on KOAM.
July 6 was the deadline given to White's lawyers to provide additional arguments for their client. White faces two assault charges and one count each of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and attempted escape, in connection with the shooting, which took place Oct. 8.
