A push for more letters supporting the request by Memorial Middle School shooter Thomas Gregory White's attorneys' requests to have his case returned to juvenile court has brought a flood of letters to Jasper County Circuit Court Judge David Mouton.
With the 14-year-old's next hearing scheduled for 9 a.m tomorrow in Joplin, 35 letters favoring White have been received as of this afternoon, according to court files, with 28 of them posted on case.net today.
Those supporting Thomas White are scheduled to have a rally beginning at 8 a.m. Friday and lasting until it is almost time for the pre-trial hearing. Mouton indicated last month he would make a decision on White's status by early July.
Those sending letters on White's behalf, in addition to those already mentioned in The Turner Report are:
James H. Thorn, Justice for Juveniles; Denise Marhoefer, juvenile defender, Defense Foundation for Children USA; Alicia Rodriguez, Marjorie Sisk, Angela Hall, Gloria Sliger, A? (that is how it is written in the court file), Natalie R. Ladik, Sharon Overman, Jennifer Dickerson, Leeta Riddle, Patty Overman, Ruth Overman, Nina Riley, Edgar M. Goebel, Angie Jones, Kyleen A. Overman, Carolyn Cupp, Janie Goebel, Ruby Cupp, Billie A. Johnson, Bill Cupp, Ben Henderson, Brian Riley, Virgil Harris, Patricia Williams, Valerie Stossel, and Cari Barichello, Justice for Juveniles.
All those letters and only 12 or so at the "rally". Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteAnd, funny that so many of the letters came from people with the same last name. Hmmmm.....
A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

doesn't matter if there is one or 1 million and 1 to make a difference.

same last names?haha where?
If you think this is funny, and that just cause someone has the same last name, means nothing. I'm sure if you got 300 people together, at least four, who were unrelated, would have the same last name. Like Johnson, Smith, Baker, Fisher. It's not that uncommon, you moron.
ReplyDeleteAnd if they ARE from the same family, GOOD- at least they know and respect each others beliefes and values and they support each other. LEARN FROM THEM.
And maybe one day, you'll be wrongly stuck in jail. Then how would you feel about letters that were written and the rally? Would you think it's dumb then? Would you be as ungrateful and assainine as you are now? I think not.
THINK before you open your mouth- otherwise you're just embarassing yourself.
And saying "Hmmm...." all the time sounds stupid. Like you can't finish a sentence. For all anyone knows, you prusume that donkeys fly.
It's simply moronic.
