Attorney in McDonald County sex cult case asks to question potential jurors individually

Robert Evenson, the attorney for Raymond Lambert, pastor of the Grand Valley Independent Baptist Church, is asking to question potential jurors individually when Lambert's trial on sex charges begins Nov. 13 in McDonald County Circuit Court.
Lambert and his wife, Patricia, are charged in connection with alleged ritual sex involving children.
Evenson filed the motion Thursday.
Raymond Lambert is charged with four counts of child molestation and four counts of statutory sodomy in connection with what authorities describe as ritual sex acts with children.
Mrs. Lambert faces one charge of statutory sodomy.

Wow, you mean a defense attorney wants to voir dire potential jurors? How unorthodox and how newsworthy. Next you'll be posting about how he would like to cross examen the prosecutor’s witnesses.

I take it by “inteligent [sic], thoughtful or at least worth-reading material” you mean you only wish to read things you agree with. If constant bitching bothers you then you should find 99% of Randy’s post bothersome (and 100% of the ones that deal the Castle Doctrine, Nodler and School Vouchers).

My point was and is that Randy routinely reports on standard legal procedures as if they are somehow unusual.

As for everyone hating me . . . I’m a lawyer so I’m used to it.
