Feb. 15 bond reduction hearing set for Memorial Middle School shooter

A Friday, Feb. 15, bond reduction hearing will be held for Memorial Middle School shooter Thomas Gregory White, according to Jasper County Circuit Court records.
The order, issued today by Judge David Mouton, says he will hear the defense motion to either reduce the 15-year-old's bond or to have him placed under house arrest as he awaits trial on charges of assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and attempted escape.
The Missouri Supreme Court will hear the defense request to have the case returned from adult court to the juvenile system on Feb. 28.
White has been imprisoned since October 2006, when he took an assault rifle to the school, fired a shot into the ceiling, and then allegedly attempted to pull the trigger to shoot Principal Steve Gilbreth, but the weapon jammed, according to authorities.
White was 13 and a seventh grader at Memorial at the time of the shooting.

All his attorney has to do is to quit filing the motions and then the trial can begin, then he will get his day in court and Justice will be done when he has to go somewhere else to serve his time. I hope his current situation doesn't allow for "time served".
