Who will pick Blunt for vice president now?

I can't believe anyone ever thought Mitt Romney would name Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt as his vice president, but even if he had given that nightmare scenario some thought, it looks as if it does not matter.
NBC is reporting Romney and his aides are having "frank discussions" about the campaign's future tomorrow and have canceled an appearance in Kansas later this week. Considering that Romney is still in second place in the delegate race, it appears unlikely that he will drop out of the race, nor should he, but if he had a sky high opinion of our governor, he might want to make a reassessment.
Give Blunt credit. His steadfast support for Romney helped the former Massachusetts governor nail down third place in Missouri.

You couldn't come in my below 3rd place could you. The Boy Gov would be right at home with that approval rating.

Not to worry. Daddy Blunt will just set him and brother Andrew up in Washington to lobby the Federal Government.
