Joplin Business Journal breaks EaglePicher story

The nearly-forgotten, seldom seen Joplin Business Journal broke its first big story in a long time today when it revealed that EaglePicher Technologies CEO Steve Westfall was leaving the company for another position.

I would provide you with a link to the Business Journal story, but the Bueiness Journal does not put complete stories on the web, thereby driving people to the Joplin Globe for the catchup story.

I say who cares. The Joplin Based CEO makes no decisions on his own, all the real power is at the coporate level. He is basically a figure head for the community.

Looks like he knows what is going on with EaglePicher's largest group Hillsdale Automotive and leaving for greener pastures.
