Daniel Scott, Joplin, a judge on the Missouri Southern District Court of Appeals, is weighing placing his name in consideration for a soon-to-be vacant Missouri Supreme Court position, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch Political Fix:

SO let me get this straight...the article says "Those who might be weighing a bid", which is obviously only that writers guess...and you turn the headline into "Joplin judge SEEKING spot on Missouri Supreme Court! No wonder we can't trust the media. You've created a story when there was no story. What a dis-service to Dan Scott. You owe him an apology.
